Kids jumped at the chance to go for a fish in this beautiful bay… and the local pelicans wanting the bait to go to them rather than the fish kept them on their toes 😂
We also watched the dolphins come in for their regular breakfast feed. I’ve read some posts where people were disappointed by how few dolphins there are but ‘forewarned is forearmed’ so if you’re heading this way know usually only a couple of dolphins are fed, and there’s maybe around half a dozen hanging around the feeding area.
The town of Denham is a lovely little spot on Shark Bay and we had Little Lagoon, 5 minutes out of Denham, all to ourselves! Just up the road at Francois Peron National Park, they have an artesian hot tub where 40°C bore water is pumped up from over 500m underground. Lovely… but you can’t stay in there too long 😅
