6 hour drive down from the mountains to the Prom meant the kids were well napped by the time we arrived! Emma was a little surprised (scared frozen 😳) by how welcoming the local rosellas were. Knowing bad weather was forecast Michelle, Emma and I took advantage of the nice morning to complete a beautiful hike checking out Pillar Point and Squeaky Beach. James took advantage of staying back at camp and reading 😉
The storm arrived which meant we had no option but to retire to the Motorhome and nap the afternoon away… as a famous Victorian once said, “such is life”.
Also good news- we finally got to add live wombats to our native animal count. Sadly all we have seen so far are dead ones along the road. They really are the cutest of creatures!
